Job summary

Skyland Trail in Atlanta is seeking a master's level mental health clinician (licensed or license eligible) to provide cross-coverage for individual caseloads and groups on both adult and adolescent campuses. You will collaborate with the Primary Counselor team to support clients across CBT, DBT, Dual Diagnosis, and related recovery communities.

The role emphasizes coordinated coverage, timely documentation, and active participation in recovery planning, with opportunities to supervise interns

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Eligible for license (provisional or full) required.
• Experience with clients with psychiatric illness and co-occurring disorders preferred.
• Residential/partial hospitalization/day treatment setting experience required.
• DBT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Primary Counselor or supervisor to organize coverage for vacations, absences, or emergencies.
• Provide individual sessions at least weekly and participate in treatment planning.
• Deliver group coverage, develop written curriculums, and co-facilitate groups as needed.
• Complete admissions documents, assessments, and progress notes; maintain treatment documentation.
• Collaborate in recovery team meetings, design wellness plans, and communicate goals to clients and families.
• Cross-train at adolescent campus and participate in quarterly orientations.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality and coordinate with insurance providers as required.
