Job summary

Spring Harbor Hospital in MaineHealth’s Behavioral Health division seeks a Psychiatric Technician I to help maintain a safe, therapeutic setting and implement individualized treatment plans in cooperation with the treatment team. The role includes providing care and emotional support to patients and assisting with data collection and documentation.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), and CPR/BLS/RQI certification with CPI/MOAB training within specified timeframes,

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current RQI/BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start. Completion of CPI/MOAB training within 60 days of start.
• Experience: Less than six (6) months of experience as a Psychiatric Technician.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and therapeutic setting for patients.
• Implement individualized treatment plans in cooperation with the treatment team.
• Provide care and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with the collection and documentation of data.
