Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. in Houston is seeking a licensed therapist for Thousand Branches Wellness to lead outpatient clinical operations for adolescents and adults, delivering in-person and virtual services in a startup-minded setting.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, run group and individual therapies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while ensuring compliant documentation and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent).
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care).
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum development and implementation.
• Referral management, assessments and direct client contact (individual, group and family).
• Implement and manage systems to ensure effective communication with clients, families, referral sources and other relevant entities.
• Treatment, discharge and safety planning.
• Active participation in clinic consultation, supervision and collaboration.
• Thorough and timely clinical documentation.
• Other duties as assigned
