Job summary

Guidelight Health in Norwood, MA seeks an Education Facilitator to support adolescents in our PHP/IOP programs. You will tailor curricula, collaborate with schools and Guidelight staff, and align teaching with therapeutic goals while promoting academic progress.

This per diem, Monday–Friday role offers approximately 15 hours/week from noon to 3pm, onsite at our Norwood location, with a focus on integrated education and mental health support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• 2+ years with adolescents in behavioral health or special education.
• Experience in educational planning and adapting curricula.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with schools and families to maintain educational progress.
• Provide individualized educational support for adolescents.
• Serve as liaison between schools and Guidelight Health staff.
• Develop educational strategies aligned with treatment goals.
• Create an environment fostering academic achievement and emotional well-being.
• Conduct assessments and maintain records of student performance.
• Maintain a structured yet flexible learning environment.
• Collaborate with mental health professionals to integrate services.
• Guide adolescents to improve study habits and time management.
