Job summary

Guidelight Health is seeking an Education Facilitator to support adolescents in our PHP and IOP programs. This role focuses on continuing students' educational goals while receiving behavioral health treatment.

The position is Monday–Friday per diem, with hours 12pm–3pm (approximately 15 hours/week). You will tailor curricula and collaborate with schools and families to maintain academic progress as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with adolescents in behavioral health or education settings.
• Experience in educational planning and curriculum facilitation for diverse learners.
• Understanding of how mental health impacts learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with schools and families to maintain educational progress during treatment.
• Provide individualized educational support and adapt curricula as needed.
• Liaise between schools and Guidelight Health staff for student needs.
• Develop and implement educational strategies aligned with treatment goals.
• Create a learning environment that supports academic achievement and emotional well-being.
• Conduct assessments and maintain records of student performance and engagement.
• Maintain a structured yet flexible learning environment for therapy-supported learning.
• Collaborate with mental health professionals to integrate education with treatment plans.
• Guide adolescents to improve study habits, time management and confidence.
