Job summary

Guidelight Health is seeking an Education Facilitator to support adolescents in our PHP and IOP programs. The role ensures students continue pursuing their educational goals while receiving behavioral health treatment in our Brighton, MA facilities.

This part-time position runs Monday through Friday from 12pm to 3pm, approximately 15 hours per week. Strong collaboration with schools, families, and a multidisciplinary Guidelight team is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, Special Education, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience working with adolescents, ideally within behavioral health or special education.
• Proven experience in educational planning and curriculum facilitation for diverse learners.
• Strong understanding of mental health impacts on learning and development.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team including therapists and counselors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with schools and families to maintain educational progress during treatment.
• Provide individualized educational support and adapt curricula for adolescents.
• Liaise between schools and Guidelight Health staff for smooth educational alignment.
• Develop and implement strategies aligning education with therapeutic goals.
• Create an environment supportive of both academics and emotional well-being.
• Conduct assessments and maintain records of student performance and engagement.
• Maintain a structured yet flexible learning environment supportive of therapy.
• Collaborate with mental health professionals to integrate education with treatment plans.
• Guide adolescents to improve study habits, time management, and academic confidence.
