Job summary

Wasatch Behavioral Health in Orem, Utah is seeking a Part-Time Human Service Worker for the Aspire Academy Program. You will support adolescent females ages 12–17 in a structured, therapeutic setting, providing supervision and compassionate care.

Schedule includes Sunday–Thursday/Friday, 7am-3pm or 1pm-9pm; compensation range $17.50–$22.17/hour. This role involves crisis support, documentation, and collaboration with therapists to help youth navigate trauma and recovery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm, patient and grounded in challenging situations.
• Reliable, team-oriented and eager to learn.
• Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required.
• Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase.
• Employment contingent upon a drug screen and criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support and supervision to adolescent clients in a structured, therapeutic setting.
• Build positive relationships while modeling healthy behaviors and coping skills.
• Facilitate daily routines, structured activities, and skills-based groups.
• Support clients through crises and help maintain a safe, stable environment.
