Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Supervisor for our Springville residential program. The role focuses on leading a team of 3–5 residential staff to support adolescent girls aged 12–17 in a high-acuity setting, ensuring safety, adherence to treatment plans, and collaborative care with therapists and nurses.

The position requires at least 2 years in a residential/inpatient setting and 1 year of leadership, with strong de-escalation skills and the ability to coach staff.

Qualifications

• 2 years working in a Residential Treatment Center or Inpatient Setting.
• 1 year of leadership experience.
• Experience working with adolescent teenagers.
• Skilled in de-escalation and managing high-acuity, emotionally charged situations.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach and support staff.
• Comfortable making quick decisions and leading during safety-related incidents.
• Maintains firm boundaries and models emotionally regulated behavior.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train 3-5 residential staff by providing guidance answering questions, modeling interventions, and managing escalated situations.
• Provide supervision and emotional support to adolescent girls (ages 12–17) in a high-acuity residential setting.
• Lead interventions during behavioral escalations, aggression, and critical safety incidents.
• Guide new hires through a structured, checklist-based on-shift orientation.
• Assign responsibilities effectively to ensure smooth, efficient shift operations.
• Conduct weekly 1on1 meeting's with direct supports.
• Be on-call for critical incidents and lead response efforts when needed.
• Uphold treatment plans and collaborate with therapists, nurses, and day staff.
• Participate in leadership meetings, relaying relevent information during treatment team meeting's as necessary.
