Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health in Springville, UT seeks Behavioral Health Associates for our trauma‑informed residential program serving adolescent girls (ages 12–17). You will provide direct support in a high‑acuity environment, helping clients regulate emotions, stay safe, and engage in therapeutic routines.

Qualifications

• High-acuity response in residential setting.
• Demonstrated emotional regulation and boundary setting.
• Growth mindset with passion for adolescent mental health.
• Experience with adolescents in behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily routines: Support students in following structured schedules and activities with encouragement and accountability.
• Crisis intervention: Use verbal de-escalation techniques to manage escalations; apply holds/restraints when clinically necessary to ensure safety.
• Crisis prevention: Apply proactive strategies to reduce risk and provide crisis management when necessary.
• Treatment alignment: Ensure student progress aligns with individualized treatment plans developed by therapists.
• Positive modeling: Model constructive behaviors and attitudes, reinforcing a healthy environment for clients.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough records of client interactions, incidents, and progress.
• Team engagement: Participate in staff and house bonding activities to foster teamwork.
• Housekeeping tasks: Perform light daily tasks to maintain a clean living space.
