Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health in Hurricane, UT is hiring Behavioral Health Associates to support adolescent boys (12–17) in a residential setting. You’ll assist with daily routines, emotional regulation, and structured programming alongside therapists and nurses to meet treatment goals, in a home‑like environment focused on stabilization, assessment, and family-centered healing.

The role emphasizes crisis intervention, documentation, teamwork, and light housekeeping, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Experience managing verbal/physical outbursts in a residential setting.
• Ability to maintain composure and set healthy boundaries during crises.
• Willingness to learn and grow in adolescent mental health.

Responsibilities

• Daily routines: Support students with structured schedules and activities.
• Crisis intervention: Use verbal de-escalation techniques; apply holds/restraints when necessary to ensure safety.
• Crisis prevention: Apply proactive strategies to reduce risk and provide crisis management.
• Treatment alignment: Ensure student progress aligns with therapists' plans.
• Positive modeling: Model constructive behaviors and maintain a healthy environment.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough records of client interactions, incidents, and progress.
• Team engagement: Participate in staff and house bonding activities to foster teamwork.
• Housekeeping tasks: Perform light daily tasks to keep living spaces clean.
