Job summary

Qualifications

• Virginia nursing license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of behavioral healthcare experience; psychiatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments identifying medical needs and limitations.
• Record and transcribe physician orders and administer medications per policy.
• Communicate observations for the plan of care and coordinate with the treatment team.
• Maintain secure control of medications and accurate MAR documentation.
• Prepare clients for discharge with clear medication instructions and education.
