Job summary

Reingold in Alexandria, VA is seeking an Adobe Email Marketing Specialist to build and run email and cross-channel campaigns for client engagements. You will design workflows in Adobe Campaign and Adobe Journey Optimizer, shape data models, troubleshoot deliveries, and deploy campaigns with strict quality controls.

The role is hands-on across platforms, requires depth in deliverability, SQL/JavaScript, and ability to explain technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of hands-on Adobe Campaign or AJO experience with production ownership.
• Ability to build multi-step workflows independently from targeting to delivery.
• Strong SQL with joins, aggregations and subqueries; JavaScript for scripting contexts.
• Relational data modeling knowledge and email deliverability know-how.
• HTML/CSS for email and CAN-SPAM compliance awareness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for technical explanations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Adobe Campaign workflows behind client programs.
• Write and optimize SQL and JavaScript inside workflows; diagnose performance issues.
• Extend and maintain Campaign data model and mappings to client data sources.
• Build imports/exports and integrations with CRM, analytics, and file feeds.
• Own email deliverability: SPF/DKIM/DMARC, IP warming, bounce handling.
• Execute end-to-end campaign calendar: pulls, templates, approvals, deployment.
• Manage lists, preferences, subscriptions, and CAN-SPAM compliance.
• Create campaign reporting and run A/B/tests; translate results into client recommendations.
• Maintain runbooks and document workflows; explore AI to streamline repetitive tasks.
