Job summary

Reingold Inc. in Alexandria, VA is seeking an Adobe Email Marketing Specialist to build and run cross-channel campaigns behind client engagements.

This hands-on role spans Adobe Campaign and Adobe Journey Optimizer, designing workflows, shaping data models, and troubleshooting deliveries. This hybrid position requires at least two days on site per week and offers opportunity to work with CAN-SPAM compliance, data integrations, and campaign reporting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Adobe Campaign or AJO experience with production ownership
• Ability to build multi-step workflows independently and justify each step
• Strong SQL with experience reading execution plans and JavaScript for Campaign contexts
• Relational data modeling understanding and Campaign schema awareness
• Practical email deliverability knowledge: authentication, sender reputation, bounce handling
• HTML/CSS for email and responsive patterns across major clients
• Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and consent/opt-out requirements
• Excellent written and oral communication, ability to explain constraints to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the Adobe Campaign workflows behind client programs, including targeting, segmentation, enrichment, deduplication, scheduling, and deliveries.
• Write and optimize SQL and JavaScript inside workflows and diagnose slow queries.
• Extend and maintain the Campaign data model and mappings to client sources.
• Build and maintain imports, exports, and integrations with CRM, web analytics, and client systems.
• Own the technical side of email deliverability, including authentication, IP warming, bounce handling, and seed testing.
• Execute the campaign calendar end-to-end from audience pulls to deployment.
• Manage lists, preference centers, and unsubscribe handling in line with CAN-SPAM.
• Create campaign reporting and run A/B/multivariate tests; turn results into actionable recommendations.
• Maintain runbooks and document processes; explore AI to streamline repetitive tasks.
