NiSource Inc. is seeking a Distribution Arranger to support safe, reliable operation of the Distribution Electric System. You will review switching, prepare orders, and coordinate with ESSO leadership and field teams from the 24/7 control center.

The role requires shift work, heavy coordination, and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities include monitoring OMS/NMS/SCADA systems, performing ADMS analyses, and assisting with outages and restoration.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience in the electric utility industry operations or engineering.
• Ability to quickly assess and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
• Manage multiple priorities and motivate stakeholders to achieve goals.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Knowledge of distribution and transmission line and substation operations.
• Understand single line diagrams, engineering drawings, prints, and standards.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Review planned switching requests and analyze system impacts.
• Prepare and review all planned switching orders.
• Assist in emergency switching and outage restoration.
• Monitor Distribution Automation System for real time alarms and status changes.
• Run ADMS analyses such as Power Flow, Fault Location Analysis, and Feeder Load Management.
• Verify and commission GIS data in NMS.
• Update and validate models in OMS with NMS support.
• Periodically assume duties of ESSO Supervisor.
• Respond to emergencies following established procedures.
