Job summary

Cognizant in Newark, NJ is seeking an ADMS Technology Engineer to own the lifecycle of Advanced Distribution Management Systems, from design to deployment and ongoing support. You will collaborate with Analysts, Product Managers, and Cybersecurity to ensure reliable grid operations.

You will work on ADMS implementations and production support, perform system integration across SCADA/OMS/DMS/GIS, troubleshoot issues, and develop Power BI dashboards.

• ADMS / grid operations systems integration experience essential.
• Systems troubleshooting & root cause analysis required.
• SCADA / OMS / DMS / GIS integration experience
• Windows & Linux server administration
• Power BI reporting & dashboards

• Network fundamentals (IP, LAN, firewall concepts)
• Interface testing & data validation
• Technical documentation & peer reviews

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design technical solutions and implementation plans.
• Configure and implement ADMS applications, modules, and integrations.
• Support deployment of features, upgrades, patches and fixes across environments.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues across Windows and Linux servers.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Validate interfaces between SCADA/OMS/DMS/GIS and other systems.
• Create runbooks, documentation and technical guides.
• Provide production support and stakeholder communication.
