Job summary

The Baptist Health Floyd 3AC Medical Inpatient Unit in New Albany, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time, mid-shift work from 11am to 11pm. This role includes self-scheduling and a weekend rotation, with every 4th weekend required.

A sign-on bonus is eligible for experienced external candidates. You will provide direct, comprehensive nursing care from admission through discharge, collaborating with an on-shift team to meet patient and family needs in a 44-bed unit that welcomes

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Job Duties:

In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Unit:

The Medical Inpatient Unit, also known as 3AC, is a 44-bed medical-surgical unit that pilots new ideas for the hospital. Nurses will care for a wide range of medical diagnosis and conditions. The Innovation Unit serves as a wonderful opportunity for new graduate LPN and RNs to start nursing careers and is complimented by seasoned nurses who share their expertise.

Position/Opportunity Highlights:

• Self-Scheduling
• Every 3rd weekend rotation for NA's and every 4th weekend requirement for nurses
• Work 1 summer and 1 winter holiday ONLY
