Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN, invites an experienced Registered Nurse to join the 3AC Medical Inpatient Innovation Unit on a part-time basis (24 hours weekly), with day shifts from 7am to 7pm and weekend WOW coverage. This role offers benefit-eligible status and sign-on bonus eligibility for experienced external candidates.

The Innovation Unit (3AC) is a 44-bed medical-surgical unit piloting new ideas, with self-scheduling and premium pay for WOW shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Serve as an on-shift team member to meet patient, family, and coworker needs.

Job Duties:

In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Unit:

The Innovation Unit, also known as 3AC, is a 44-bed medical-surgical unit that pilots new ideas for the hospital. Nurses will care for a wide range of medical diagnosis and conditions. The Innovation Unit serves as a wonderful opportunity for new graduate LPN and RNs to start nursing careers and is complimented by seasoned nurses who share their expertise.
