The role supports direct patient care from admission to discharge, with a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.

Self-scheduling is available and a sign-on bonus is offered for experienced applicants. Eligible candidates hold Indiana RN licensure (compact allowed), BLS, and ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

Job Duties:

In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Unit:

The 2nd floor Intermediate Unit is a 34-bed unit specializing in Progressive Care (PCU) or intermediate nursing. With nurse-to-patient ratios (4:1), our team provides high-quality care to adult patients with complex medical needs. Our unit is composed both experienced and new graduate nurses; we work as an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient centric care. Our team continues building our reputation as a unit everyone wants to be a part of because of teamwork, clinical expertise, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications:

Current Indiana or compact state RN license.

BLS for healthcare provider required.

ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
