The Baptist Health Floyd 3AC Medical Inpatient Innovation Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time night shift (7pm-7am) on a 36-hour weekly schedule with every 4th weekend requirement and sign-on bonus eligibility.

The RN/LPN will provide direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge, work as an on-shift team member, and care for a wide range of medical diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Job Duties

• In this role, the RN/LPN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
• The Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Unit

The Innovation Unit, also known as 3AC, is a 44-bed medical-surgical unit that pilots new ideas for the hospital. Nurses will care for a wide range of medical diagnosis and conditions. The Innovation Unit serves as a wonderful opportunity for new graduate LPN and RNs to start nursing careers and is complimented by seasoned nurses who share their expertise.

Position/Opportunity Highlights

• Self-Scheduling Every 3rd weekend rotation for NA's and every 4th weekend requirement for nurses
• Work 1 summer and 1 winter holiday ONLY

• Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required
