Job summary

The Village South in Florida seeks an Admissions Intake Specialist to schedule and conduct admissions assessments, and to determine the appropriate level of care for consumers. You will prepare wellness plans and coordinate with referrals, courts, and internal teams.

Qualifications include a master’s degree in a related field and Florida licensure preferred. Strong trauma-informed practice and motivational interviewing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field is required.
• Licensure or certification in Florida preferred (LCSW/LMHC/LMFT).
• Two years of supervised therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and facilitate admissions and intake assessments.
• Determine appropriate level of care and enroll consumers into suitable programs.
• Prepare Wellness & Recovery Plans with consumers.
• Coordinate with referrals, courts, and external providers.
• Maintain confidential records in compliance with licensing and policy.
