Job summary

The Chicago School is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions to lead recruitment for certificate and degree programs, guiding inquiries from first contact to enrollment. The role includes mentoring Admissions Representatives, reporting, and representing the university at meetings and events.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in admissions (1+ in a senior role), and strong communication skills. Evening/weekend availability and occasional travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 3 years in admissions, with at least 1 year at Senior Admissions Representative level or higher.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting for assigned programs and serving as the primary contact throughout the admissions process.
• Conduct outbound calls, respond to inquiries, and maintain communication with prospective students.
• Conduct telephone, virtual, and in-person consultations to explain programs, admission requirements, and paperwork.
• Provide superior customer service through the entire admission process.
• Maintain Salesforce database, generate reports and forecasts, and document activities accurately.
• Represent the university professionally in meetings and events; train Representatives and develop admissions content.
