Job summary

The Chicago School is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions for the Chicago campus on-site, overseeing all phases of the admissions process and mentoring Admissions Representatives. The role requires evenings, weekends, and occasional domestic travel, with responsibilities spanning recruitment, inquiries handling, and relationship management.

The position emphasizes leadership, strategy, and collaborative teamwork within a dynamic admissions unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in admissions, including at least 1 year at a senior admissions representative level or higher.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Computer skills, including experience using customer relationship management systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Recruit new students for assigned programs and guide them through the admissions process.
• Maintain Salesforce database, log calls and activities, and implement contact strategy.
• Represent the university professionally at meetings and events.
• Train Admissions Representatives and develop admissions messaging.
• Assist the supervisor and perform other duties as assigned.
