Job summary

Jefferson Enrollment Management (JEM) in Philadelphia seeks an Associate Director of Admissions to lead recruitment and yield efforts for assigned pools. You will optimize relationships with applicants and advisors to drive funnel conversion and achieve headcount, revenue, and program goals.

You will mentor staff, manage application pools, collaborate with academic partners, and guide selection procedures. This senior role emphasizes strategic leadership in admissions across campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years industry experience with 1+ year in management/leadership.
• Experience in student recruitment, admissions, or enrollment management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead student recruitment activities (on/off-campus and virtual events).
• Oversee prospect/outreach to convert to applicants and deposits.
• Define selection criteria and oversee application review and decisions.
• Manage application pools to meet headcount and yield targets.
• Develop strategies for sub-populations (athletes, transfers, etc.).
• Lead committees and mentor staff; supervise hiring, onboarding, performance.
• Contribute to planning, policy development, and quality assurance within Admissions.
