Harbor Oaks Hospital in New Baltimore, MI is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our admissions team as an Admissions RN. You will review medical documentation, coordinate admissions, and ensure accurate pre-authorization and payor verification while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

The role requires an ADN and MI RN license, at least one year of clinical experience, CPR and de-escalation certification, and a commitment to safety and teamwork within a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) and active RN license in MI.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical or observational nursing experience.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
• First aid certification may be required per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review medical documentation and obtain admission orders from physicians.
• Facilitate emergency transfers and coordinate referrals for admissions.
• Conduct pre-admission assessments and document payor information.
• Collaborate with medical and psychiatric staff for appropriate admissions.
• Ensure timely pre-authorization and payor verification.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient safety.
• Provide empathetic, professional patient interactions.
