Job summary

St. Francis Hospice (SFH) is seeking an Admissions Registered Nurse to determine eligibility and prepare the initial plan of care for referred patients and families. The RN will collaborate with the Intake Coordinator, Clinical Service Department and COO to ensure timely processing of referrals.

Requires ADN and a current Florida RN license; BSN preferred. Hospice, home health, or palliative care experience is favored. Generous benefits package and a $6,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• ADN required for licensure as RN in Florida.
• BSN degree preferred but not required.
• Active Florida RN license is required.
• Hospice, home health or palliative care experience preferred.

St. Francis Hospice (SFH) is growing, and we need an Admissions Registered Nurse to join our team. SFH is a well-established, mission-driven healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional hospice and palliative care services throughout our community.

The Admission Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for determining the eligibility and preparation of patient/family need and the initial written plan of care. Position works closely with the Intake Coordinator, Clinical Service Department, and the Chief Operating Officer to ensure timely processing of all referrals. Position serves as a resource for questions/issues from the health care community and SFR staff.

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current and active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License required. Hospice, home health, palliative care, or related experience preferred.
