Job summary

Valley College is seeking an Admissions Representative to recruit and enroll qualified students in accordance with college policies and state/federal laws. This on-site role emphasizes confidentiality, integrity, and compliant guidance throughout the applicant journey.

You'll engage with applicants, manage leads, and coordinate appointments while collaborating with faculty and staff to support student success. Travel to campus locations and outreach events is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: A college credential (Bachelor-level) is preferred.
• Licensure not required.
• State permit required after hire.
• Ohio Representatives: The Ohio State Board requires Admissions Representatives to complete the online New Agent Admissions Training Course; annual training is required for permit renewal.
• West Virginia Representatives: The WVCTCS requires new Admissions Representatives to submit a registration form and obtain an Individual Solicitor Permit; renewal annually.
• Prior Work Experience: Previous sales experience is preferred. Experience in vocational school or intangible sales is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and enroll qualified students in accordance with Valley College policies, accrediting-body standards, and applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
• Support prospective students throughout the admissions process with integrity and privacy.
• Engage applicants using approved phone scripts and admissions presentations for accurate program information.
• Coordinate lead handling and prospect appointments with campus staff and maintain records in the inquiry system.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success and placement outcomes.
• Participate in community outreach, high school visits, and job/college fairs.
• Adhere to the Admissions Personnel Code of Conduct and Valley College policies.
• Develop a professional development plan and document execution; attend required trainings.
• Travel as needed between campuses and related sites.
