Job summary

Johnson & Wales University in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Admissions Representative for the Piedmont Triad/Triangle NC region. The role oversees student recruitment activities and fosters relationships with schools, families, and counselors to encourage applications and enrollment.

The position requires coordinating events, presenting information sessions, and traveling extensively within the region, including evenings and weekends as needed. A strong customer service orientation is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent formal training.
• Experience working in admissions, sales, marketing or related areas.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service, presentation, verbal/written communication and organization skills.
• Ability to travel extensively in designated territory (Piedmont Triad / Triangle N.C.).
• Ability to work various weekend and evening assignments as required throughout the year.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and CRM experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a strategy to administer student recruitment activities within an assigned territory.
• Conducts targeted school visibility in the territory.
• Promotes application and enrollment in undergraduate, continuing education, graduate, and online programs as applicable.
• Develops and maintains relationships with prospective students, parents, educators and counselors to share information and encourage enrollment.
• Conducts group admissions presentations for prospective students and families.
• Represents the university in recruiting activities, including social media marketing, conferences, fairs, events and telemarketing.
• Stays current on new programs and admission policies and processes.
• Maintains records of recruitment efforts and applicant correspondence per guidelines.
• Assists with admissions functions and events as assigned.
