Job summary

Johnson & Wales University in Raleigh, NC is hiring an Admissions Representative to oversee recruitment for Piedmont Triad/Triangle NC. The role includes school visits, presentations, and representing JWU at events to boost applications and enrollment.

The position requires travel, strong communication, and weekend/evening availability. U.S. driver's license and an associate degree are needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent formal training.
Experience in admissions, sales, marketing or related field.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Excellent customer service, presentation and communication skills.
Willingness to travel extensively in Piedmont Triad / Triangle NC.
Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

Develops and executes recruitment strategy within assigned territory.
Conducts school visibility events in assigned territory.
Promotes applications and enrollment in university programs.
Maintains relationships with prospective students, parents, educators and counselors.
Conducts group admissions presentations for families.
Represent the university at recruiting events, conferences, fairs and telemarketing.
Keeps records of recruitment activities and applicant communications.
Assists with admissions functions and events as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.
