Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
• Experience: five years in hospital admissions/patient access with at least three years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Operational oversight for admissions and patient access across hospital and ancillary sites to ensure timely, accurate service.
• Lead daily workflows for registration, point-of-service collections, and bed placement coordination.
• Collaborate with department leaders to improve patient flow and throughput and frontline communication.
• Supervise admissions staff, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
• Monitor KPIs such as registration accuracy, productivity, wait times, and denial prevention metrics.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or a related field

Master’s degree preferred
