Job summary

The George Washington University Hospital (GW Hospital) seeks an experienced leader to oversee the Admitting Department, ensuring smooth patient access operations in a high-volume academic medical center. This 24/7 role requires at least three years of supervision in patient access within an acute care setting and a Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree is preferred.

The successful candidate will collaborate with UHS networks, ensure compliance, optimize patient flow and registration accuracy,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years progressive experience as a supervisor of patient access in an acute care setting.
• Bachelor's Degree required; a Master's degree in a related field is preferred.

• Has 24-hour 7 day a week responsibility for the operational management and strategic planning of Admitting Department.
