Covenant Learning Solutions is seeking an Admissions Counselor in Kittrell, NC to conduct outreach and determine student eligibility for enrollment across its programs. This full-time, exempt role reports to the OA/CTS Manager and emphasizes career readiness and industry engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field.
• Associate’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field, with years related experience.
• Valid State driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates and abides by Covenant Learning Solutions Core Values and operating principles.
• Supports the Career Development Services System (CDSS) as it relates to individual position, department, and overall goals.
• Ensures that all Personally Identifiable Information is securely stored at all times.
• Conducts direct recruitment activities including speaking.
• Attends, exhibits, and presents at designated events including neighborhood and county activities/fairs, job fairs, resource fairs and other events as directed by management.
• Develops and maintains linkages with referral sources such as colleges, school districts, human services agencies, youth organizations, and local agencies to identify potential students and conduct outreach activities.
• Interviews potential candidates to obtain information to support eligibility and complete applicant folders.
• Follows-up on student progress including length of stay and separation.
• Coordinates and maintains communication with center pertaining to input needs.
• Coordinates and maintains communications with CTS for coordinated support of outreach and placement.
• Models employability skills including personal responsibility and computer fluency.
• Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property, adheres to safety practices.
• Completes all required documentation in folders for enrollment per PRH and company requirements.
• Participates in industry advisory councils and community relations councils as assigned.
• Participates in OCT student orientations and information sessions.
• Contributes to policy and procedure development affecting outreach activities.
• Promotes Career Success Standards by modeling behaviors, mentoring students, and monitoring behaviors.
• Assists center and CTS with contacting AWOL students and non-responsive former enrollees.
• Provides additional assistance to meet department goals.
• Cultivates a respectful center climate free of harassment and intimidation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
