Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is seeking a temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant in Admissions under the Federal Work Study program. The position supports mail handling, information routing, records management, and applicant processing and is limited to currently enrolled undergraduates meeting aid requirements.

Position runs from late November 2026 to May 2027, with possible reappointment. A short-term opportunity to gain campus experience while supporting admissions operations.

Qualifications

• Undergrad students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year.

Responsibilities

• Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
• Answer and route telephone calls and respond to general inquiries.
• File, image, index, and maintain departmental documents and records.
• Deliver documents and materials to other campus offices.
• Update and maintain applicant records in PeopleSoft with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with organization and processing of applicant and departmental records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
