Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, communicate and understand directions in English.
• Demonstrates accuracy in taking manual vital signs.
• Strong interpersonal skills are required to gather information from individuals, build relationships, intervene in difficult situations and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and multitask.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
• Knowledge of addiction and chemical dependency.
• Ability to use defibrillation equipment.
• Must have excellent nursing skills.
• Experience working in detox, addiction, and mental health environments is preferred.
• RN license and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing admissions process, including explaining services and related costs, and conducting telephonic/in person intake screenings to assess the client’s situation.
• Deliver the highest quality customer service standards of care and productivity for internal and external clients.
• Review admission referrals and coordinate with navigators to ensure proper placement.
• Triage all incoming clients for intended level of care.
• Coordinate with physicians and nurses regarding the plan of care to provide the individual treatment needed.
• Regular and consistent attendance is required.
