Maybelle Center in Portland, Oregon seeks an Admissions Coordinator to support the admissions team in screening referrals and residents under the Specific Needs Contract. You will ensure compliance with OARs, Medicaid eligibility, and behavioral health criteria.

The role serves as a liaison among hospitals, SNFs, Case Managers, behavioral health agencies, and ODHS, providing administrative support and maintaining accurate records for KPI reporting and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years in healthcare, behavioral health, or admissions coordination.
• Familiarity with Medicaid eligibility and Oregon Assisted Living regulations preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Facility Manager, Maintenance, and housekeeping to prepare move-in rooms.
• Communicate bi-monthly with Case Managers and referral sources about vacancies.
• Provide facility tours for potential residents and Case Managers.
• Screen referrals for ODHS Specific Needs Contract criteria and Medicaid eligibility.
• Coordinate weekly Admissions meetings and arrange nursing/behavioral health assessments.
• Maintain preadmission records and waiting list tracking.
• Coordinate LIHTC documentation and resident accounts receivable with Finance.
• Ensure lease and admissions packets are prepared for move-in.
• Support transitions, discharges, and required ODHS notifications.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant resident files and annual consents.
