Job summary

Maybelle Center is seeking an Admissions Coordinator in Portland, OR to manage the admissions process for our Behavioral Health Assisted Living community. This critical role involves ensuring compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules and Medicaid eligibility.

The Admissions Coordinator will coordinate with various agencies, maintain detailed records, and provide vital administrative support. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, case management, or admissions coordination.
• Familiarity with Medicaid eligibility requirements and Oregon Assisted Living regulations preferred.
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Facility Manager to ensure vacant rooms are move-in ready.
• Communicate bi-monthly with Case Managers and referral sources about vacancies.
• Screen all new referrals for ODHS Specific Needs Contract criteria.
• Maintain and track annual renewal of consents and resident files in compliance with HIPAA.
