Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation’s Lodge at Mills River is seeking an Admissions & Marketing Director to lead outreach, referrals, and resident admissions in a community-focused skilled nursing setting.

You’ll develop relationships with discharge planners, physician practices, home health agencies, and families; manage tours, eligibility data, and marketing materials; and partner with staff to support resident care and occupancy.

Qualifications

• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility/Long Term Care preferred.
• Ability to grow business through relationships with medical facilities, physicians, hospitals, and other medical groups.
• Passion for working with seniors and outstanding customer service skills.
• Marketing and sales experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Market the facility to local hospitals by developing relationships with discharge planners, physician practices, and home health agencies.
• Proactively respond to inquiries from hospital discharge planners, families, and other referral sources.
• Serve as the initial liaison with residents and families on facility services.
• Assist in promoting employee engagement and recruiting.
• Speak with residents’ representatives to obtain necessary personal and financial data for admission eligibility.
• Conduct tours of the facility and maintain marketing materials for social media and ads.
• Assign accommodations for new admissions based on care needs and preferences.
• Ensure admissions paperwork is complete and timely.
• Maintain records of admissions and discharges and occupancy data.
• Participate in meetings to alert staff of projected admissions, room changes, and discharges.
• Maintain knowledge of Medicare & Medicaid regulations to ensure compliance.
