Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking an Admissions and Marketing Coordinator for our skilled nursing facility in California. You will drive census growth, manage the admissions process, and develop marketing strategies to attract new residents.

You will build strong relationships with referral sources, assess residents' clinical needs, and coordinate with the healthcare team to align marketing with facility goals. Regular reports on market trends and competitor analysis will be prepared.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum three years experience in census development and occupancy management in a nursing home or related health care facility.
• Knowledgeable of nursing/medical practices and long-term care laws/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new residents and drive census.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources.
• Assess clinical needs of potential residents and oversee admissions process.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to align marketing with facility goals and prepare market reports.
• Document all activities and maintain records of admissions, census, and referrals.
• Ensure daily census accuracy including admissions, transfers, discharges, and pay status changes.
• Maintain referral partner lists and seek new opportunities to grow referrals.
• Foster collaboration between the business office and admissions for occupancy and collections.
