Job summary

Newport Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Newport, TN seeks an Admissions Liaison to develop relationships with referral sources and guide residents and families through the transition process, helping drive census growth.

The role involves tours, coordinating admissions paperwork with the Admissions Director and care team, handling inquiries, and representing the facility at community events. Strong communication and marketing experience a plus, with flexibility for evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing and admissions for a skilled nursing facility is required or strongly preferred.
• Long-term care / skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings or weekends for events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, physicians, and other referral sources.
• Conduct facility tours and presentations for prospective residents and families, explaining services and answering questions.
• Coordinate admissions paperwork and processes in collaboration with the Admissions Director and interdisciplinary team.
• Handle inquiry calls from hospitals, families, and community organizations and schedule follow-up appointments and tours.
• Represent the facility at community events and outreach activities to promote services and build trust.
• Perform other marketing and admissions liaison duties as assigned by management.
