Responsibilities

• Collect co-pay amounts, post payments, print receipts, and balance cash.
• Meet with patients/families to explain insurance coverage and duties at discharge; set up payment plans.
• Arrange financing for patients with limited or no insurance; explain financial assistance.
• Verify benefits and coverage using insurance eligibility tools.
