Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, grammar, reading and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, lift and reach as described.
• Basic typing and computer use required.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient admission flow and identification.
• Gather demographic, financial, third‑party, and guarantor data.
• Enter admission data into the hospital information system.
• Coordinate room assignments with patient, physician and nursing needs.
