Job summary

University of Utah Health seeks an Academic Program Support Specialist (Undergraduate Admissions Evaluator) to support admissions processing and student records. The role involves evaluating transcripts, test scores, and other credentials, entering data, and maintaining university records.

You will collaborate with campus partners to answer questions about admission policies and documentation. The position is in campus offices with a standard 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Three years of general office experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), one of which in an academic setting; college coursework in a related area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating undergraduate applications for all University of Utah campuses.
• Respond to emails related to undergraduate admissions.
• Provide customer service support at our office windows and via phone calls as it relates to undergraduate admissions.
• Process credentials related to admissions.
• Monitors students’ academic files to ensure information is complete and updated by filling in information and changing records when applicable.
• Manages daily work responsibilities and recommends changes to supervisor to improve processes.
• May be cross‑trained in other areas and assigned to assist with other special projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
