Job summary

NYC Public Schools seeks an Admissions Project Manager to support the Office of Student Enrollment’s admissions operations across pre-K through high school, including district 75 sites. The APM will oversee enrollment process management, engagement/outreach, and professional development, while supporting analytics and data management, and will occasionally work evenings and weekends for events.

Reports to the Senior Director of Admissions; no direct reports; salary around $113,862.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree plus 2+ years supervisory/consultative experience in educational program administration or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 3+ years of full-time relevant experience as described in 1.
• Four-year high school diploma or equivalent plus 7+ years of full-time relevant experience as described in 1.
• Combination of education and/or experience equivalent to the above is allowed, with at least a 4-year diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of supervisory/consultative experience.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to plan, organize, and assess programs.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills to work with staff and families.
• Familiarity with NYCPS legacy systems: ATS, MySchools, STARS, SESIS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates admissions processes with project plans and timelines.
• Supervises data collection and reviews of admissions; serves as resource for staff.
• Responds to inquiries from central offices, schools, CECS, and stakeholders.
• Acts as case manager for parent inquiries and supports central enrollment team communications.
• Plans and executes community engagement forums and events.
