Responsibilities

• Manage the admissions process to ensure a positive experience for residents and families.
• Plan, direct and monitor the daily operations of the Admissions Department to meet census goals.
• Admit patients to the health care facility and complete admission paperwork.
• Screen patients by comparing conditions to admission criteria and verify information.
• Coordinate with Directors of Nursing/Case Managers to ensure appropriateness of admissions.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
