Job summary

EASTERN HEALTH GROUP is hiring an Admissions Director to manage the facility’s admissions process and provide customers with facility information through tours, visits, assessments, and follow-up. This role supports Marketing in census and quality mix goals.

The Director will collaborate with Nursing and Business Office to ensure efficient admissions, coordinate referrals, and maintain compliance with state/federal guidelines while supervising daily admission operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred; equivalent related work experience may be acceptable.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a health care setting; long-term care setting preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Meet physical and sensory requirements and work in the described environment.
• Identify and participate in process improvements to enhance the customer experience and workflow.
• Respond to inquiry calls from hospital discharge planners, families, and other referral sources.
• Conduct facility tours.
• Manage admissions process with updated bed availability and services information.
• Maintain and follow up on inquiries and admissions paperwork with appropriate signatures.
