PowerBack Rehabilitation in New Jersey is seeking an Admissions Director to drive patient census and payer management, oversee the admissions pipeline, and ensure rapid referral responses.

You will build relationships with referral sources, lead targeted marketing to raise the center's visibility, and guide cross-functional teams to smooth care transitions.

This role focuses on improving conversion metrics and community engagement while upholding compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to adjust work schedule based on nursing centers’ business need, specifically incoming admissions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire patient admissions process, ensuring timely follow-up on all leads, referral response times of less than 15 minutes, and achieving budgeted census and payer goals.
• Build and nurture relationships with key referral sources in the community through regular engagement and a consistent touchpoint system.
• Serve as the brand steward, maintaining and updating the nursing center’s website and managing social media engagement.
• Lead efforts to improve interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring the transition-of-care processes are executed smoothly with strong patient and family communication.
• Achieve a 50% or greater conversion ratio by improving the patient referral-to-admit process, tour-to-admit conversion, and strengthening the admissions strategy.
