Job summary

Middleburg Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Florida seeks an Admissions Director to lead the coordination of referrals and admissions, manage the census, and align with the facility’s patient flow goals.

You will collaborate with marketing, social work, and administrative staff to improve referrals, oversee the admissions process, and deliver excellent service to residents and families.

This is a full-time, salaried role reporting to the Administrator.

Qualifications

• Oversee referrals and admissions coordination in a healthcare facility.
• Collaborate with administrative, marketing, sales and admissions teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of referral and conversion activity.
• Respond to inquiries, communicate admission decisions, ensure positive admission experiences.
• Oversee pre-admission checks with housekeeping/ESD.
• Ensure compliance of referral processing and admission intake.
• Inform staff of incoming admissions prior to arrival.
• Monitor referral TAT against standards.
• Direct admission staff to ensure accurate documentation.
• Follow up on pending referrals with Marketing Liaison.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide admissions training and front-desk customer service training.
• Develop backup procedures for tours when needed.
• Provide feedback and coaching to admissions staff.
