Job summary

Belgrove Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Kearny, NJ, seeks an experienced Admissions Director to lead the admissions process and drive census growth. The ideal candidate has strong SNF admissions experience, excellent communication, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Lead referrals, admissions, insurance verification, and documentation while building partnerships with hospitals, families, and community partners.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of admissions, intake, or healthcare business development experience.
• Prior SNF/post-acute care experience required.
• Previous Admissions Director or Admissions Coordinator experience required.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and insurance authorization processes.
• Experience with PointClickCare, NaviHealth, CarePort, and AllScripts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage referrals, admissions, insurance verification, and authorization processes.
• Build strong relationships with hospitals, referral sources, families, and community partners.
• Maintain timely referral responses and support census goals.
• Oversee admission documentation, census reporting, and billing communication.
• Conduct facility tours and guide families through the admissions process.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Billing, MDS, Concierge, and clinical teams.
• Ensure a smooth transition for residents from referral through admission.
