Job summary

Center, LLC in Kentucky seeks a dynamic Admissions Director to coordinate all admissions and transfers while promoting our services to surrounding referral communities. You will drive census growth by building relationships with hospitals, providers, and community partners, and you will oversee the complete admission process for new and returning residents.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of payer sources including Medicare and Medicaid, and excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in nursing home or long-term care admissions and/or marketing.
• Knowledge of the admission process and payer sources (Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, Managed Care).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems and databases.
• Ability to work well in a team with a positive and enthusiastic approach.
• Reliable and self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete admission process for new and returning residents.
• Manage the referral process and build relationships with hospitals, providers, and community partners.
• Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families.
• Communicate new admissions, discharges, and readmissions to the interdisciplinary team (IDT).
• Meet and greet new residents and family members, obtaining required documentation and signatures.
• Collaborate with the Business Office on daily census reconciliation.
• Participate in morning and afternoon meetings to stay informed on census and admissions needs.
• Assist in bed management and room moves as needed.

Admissions Director Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in nursing home or long-term care admissions and/or marketing
