Qualifications

• Professional degree preferred in healthcare administration, marketing, business or related field.
• 2+ years of admissions, marketing, business development, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in SNF/rehabilitation or long-term care admissions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the admissions process from referral through admission.
• Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, physicians, and community partners.
• Respond promptly to referrals and evaluate admission eligibility.
• Coordinate admissions with nursing, clinical, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families.
• Maintain accurate admission records and documentation.
• Monitor census goals and implement strategies to increase occupancy.
• Track referral activity and provide regular admissions and marketing reports.
• Represent the facility at community networking events and healthcare meetings.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility admission requirements.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.




• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.




• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare software systems.




• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care processes preferred.




• Reliable transportation for community outreach and referral development.
