Job summary

Loyola Marymount University seeks an Admissions Analyst to design, create, update, and document reporting processes for Undergraduate Admission. You will manage data integrity across enterprise systems, build complex SQL reports, and support interfaces with Banner and SLATE for admissions workflows.

The role includes portal design, automation of admission forms, and delivering executive summaries and statistics to leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent in a quantitative or technically oriented field.
2–3 years experience in functional management of information systems.
Familiarity with Technolutions/SLATE desirable.
Ability to compile data and run reports using reporting tools.
Strong written and oral communication; executive summaries.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain reports requiring complex coding for Admission, including creation of views with MS SQL and data export for staff.
Monitor data integrity across enterprise systems and fix errors before bad data propagates.
Develop interface between Admissions information system and Banner system; manage daily interface.
Design portal solutions for staff, admitted student, and prospect portals.
Assist in automation of admission forms and online processes for self-service by applicants.
Prepare accessible statistics and executive summaries for university leadership.
